About

Currently a news journalist at NRK Rogaland. In 2023, I completed my MA in social justice journalism at the University of the Arts London with distinction. During that time I investigated the fundamental issues within parental rights in England. Over a six-month duration, I immersed myself in government policies and conducted primary research into the reality of parents’ struggles. To read, click here.

In 2022, I earned a first-class Journalism BA from Kingston University. I was awarded Undergraduate of the Year, in recognition of my outstanding academic and social performance throughout the course. I served as editor-in-chief at The River, which was shortlisted for Best Publication at the SPA awards. I contributed as an academic mentor for year-1 journalism students and as a student representative.

As a member of The Storybox Collective, I engage in interdisciplinary projects exploring archival research. In 2020 we exhibited at The William Morris Society: Produced the booklet ‘Morris was right then and he is right now: Capitalism is ugly.’ With the help of William Morris’ eco-socialist principles, the booklet takes a closer look at the destructive sides of capitalist production. In 2022/23 we exhibited a two-installment exhibit at Glyndebourne Opera House: My work focused on how sensationalism in the media is perceived compared to how it is used as an integral part of storytelling within opera. Drama! is a two-in-one zine and card game encouraging players to reflect on what we love to hate and hate to love about sensationalism. Our newest exhibition in collaboration with National Trust’s Ham House and Garden:The Still House: Plants, Potions and Powerat Ham House blurs the boundaries between garden and interior, connecting past and present, fact and folklore — inviting visitors to examine the role of historic places and collections as sources of creativity.

In 2015 I co-founded the online youth culture publication ITSNUET.COM. I have extensive experience managing interns, contributors, and brands, and planning events. In 2017, NUET extended to NUET WEAR, an online curated vintage shop

Outside of my creative work, I have worked as a nurse assistant at an enhanced shielded unit at Blidensol Nursing Home since 2018.
